why do artists look like fictional characters??

like, even if you look like the most boring person in the world, all artist look like they were designed for a tv show/video game or something idk

i remember at an art gallery one of the artists told me I look like a characters from a video game she played.

idk about u guys but based on how I draw myself I look like one of those sleep deprived gremlin high schooler psycho path serial killerz from one of those yandere and senpai thingys
